Starlight Starbright...PPF

Hi there...
Guess what I got to do...I got to get some arting on....
I started a painting on mothers day, and used a piece of cardboard from a frame I bought as the the paint palette...and I loved the colours together, so I began smudging and scrapping and lightly skimming paint...oh the JOY....and came up with this...
Starlight starbright, first star I see tonight, wish i may, wish I might, have this wish I wish tonight...
A little thing my mum taught me when I was little....
when my babies were very ill I made a wish that they could live so they could grow up and be together....
This celebrates that wish coming true...

And this is a wip of the painting I began...
Linking this to Eva and Kristins PPF...
until next time
lots of it

Love this artwork - the blues are gorgeous as well as how everything works so well together. Your children look so happy!
Thanks so much for stopping by on splice of life. I dread the testing - especially for the wee ones who are not at level and are made to feel stupid.

Ooh, I really love this! Especially the stamped letters and the "starlight starbright" verse. Just today I was thinking I wanted to make some star-related art for my girls' room, and this verse might be just the thing! Thanks for sharing!
