ppf and my jelly bean baby...lol...

OK...so, I wanted to do something different and try a sort of abstract piece of art..it really didn't turn out how i had hoped...lol...but it was a learning experience non the less...although i must say my hubby likes it and he is usually hard to plase when it comes to the things i do...i wanted to show the love of a mother to her baby, but experiment a bit with colour...well..i did that, but i must say the best thing that came from this is Jacob started to do a painting...i inspired him...so, without further ado here is my mother's love...i am of course linking this to the party....the paint party friday hosted by eva and kristin...yay...

Thanks for all the beautiful comments to all that have come and popped in....it really makes my day, and so look forward to see what you think of my scrambled attempts at trying to art...xxx

until next time
lots of it

This is great. It reminds me of a statue I saw in a park done some years ago in SO CAL. Very modern looking. Happy PPF and thanks for the lovely comment on my journal pages.

Yes it is certainly different! Its basic forms stripped of any flourish speaks to me of the purest love of a mother for her child. Patsy from

I love this! So tender. My husband prefers abstract art so any of my pieces more like that are his favorite.

Aw, I love your jelly bean baby! heeheheh
For me, paintings rarely come as I imagine, so it is always a surprise, unless I am super closely following an image

A fun abstract modern piece. It's so important to try new things and step outside your comfort zone, well done for doing that.

Blue color is what struck me, first thing. The flow in the picture gives it an innocence! Lovely!
Thank you for visiting me. :)

Hi Mandy -- Thanks for leaving such a nice comment at Morning Dewdrops about my memorial flag. I like your piece because it is simple, so it is all about the colors, great shading and I wish I could take that background for a piece I'm working on right now. Also enjoying how y'all celebrate Anzac Day; So much fun to hear from people from all over the world. I hear from a good many people in Aussie. Blessings Terri

Wow, you've inspired me as well. I like the simplicity of it yet the depth of the message and feeling it brings (the colors complementing each other so nicely as well). How'd you manage to do all that with a simple painting??
