Well...have been so busy with the kids going back to school...have done a couple of pages....will show you those in a minute....But first, I was challenged by Tracey and Nat to show the 6th photo in the 6th file of all my photos....well..here is a goofy photo of Jacob eating fairy bread.... Also am adding a page I did today...it was achallenge on tbss set by tracey...you needed to do a page that was not 12 x 12...a different shape...the black you can see behind is not part of the page...I had drawn all the flowers and was waiting for the page to use them on... art gallery page

Well...here is something that I have never tried before and I had loads of fun with it. It took many hours to do, although it may not look like it. When I met Chris W from Debs the other day in the city, we were so busy yakking that we only took one photo each. Only one photo to work with made it quite tricky, so I went with this ... drew it up the other night and it looked ok...I must say, it may have looked better before i took the watercolour to the walls, as the water colour made the paper ball up a bit. I like the quirky look of this one...thanks for looking...

Well...i have actually had an opportunity to scrap a couple of pages over the last few days...the first is my mum, on christmas morning at my tree, handing out the presents...this is her 70th christmas she has experienced...the next page is one of my son connor, and a few snippets of christmas for him... stayed up until all hours designing my page of chris and i at the art gallery...looks good on paper...hope it works out in the flesh...

OH...if you are a beatles fan you must see across the universe..it is fantastic, not really new, i am sure you could get it on dvd...great songs...well...that's it for now...take care and thanks for looking...xxx

Art Gallery

Well...Friday was our adventure to the art gallery to see monet...had a friend, craig, my son connor, and dylan, my nephew....took ages to get there...but we eventually made it...and who do you think i got to meet????the beautiful chris w from debs...and her gorgeous daughter britt...we had a quick coffee and the time flew and then we had to leave....not long enough!!! and we missed monet as the line was sssoooooooooo long...we will prebook and leave it for next week...it wa sa pleasure meeting and chatting to one of the girls from the challenge chics...thanks chris for a lovely day..glad you got home safely...can't wait to get some serious scrapping done now.....until then

THE ZOO

Well...hi there everyone...we went to Taronga Zoo today..the first visit for my kids...The day was a bit overcast with a bit of drizzle...but basically it was awesome....I wa so excited to see the giraffes...i felt like a kid when i saw them...even took a photo of their bums!!!lol!!!Her is a scattering of the 150 photo i took today...Lachlan , the big one, never gets in photod..but i took one of him reading the map...a man reading a map...better do a page of it...lol...anyways...hope you like them...i do!!!

Laughter

Hi there...have done another page...want to do a page for each of the kids to start the new year...here is Maddie's page...she had just popped out of the pool and was dripping wet...she was trying to act all serious, but her dad was over at the side of her pulling wierd faces and making her laugh, so I wanted to capture the moment...thanks for looking...xxx

So...I thought I would share this little wierd thing I did....mixed up a challenge a bit over at DEBSCREATIONS but had fun with it....it was supposed to be a magazine type sketch but decided to just do it like this....ttfn Mandy xxx

PS...you may have guessed...lol...but I am not very technical...so this thing took me ages...times 2 as i forgot to save it!!! lol at me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First for the year...

So...I finally scrapped a page. This page was actually two challenges rolled into one. First, over at TBSS tracey set a challenge to create apage using aqua and red and lots of flowers ...love these colours together. Over at debscreations deb's challenge #2 was to create a page with any size black and white photo, layering, bling, and an unusual title...the title ditto is in rhinestones...not done that before, also i did a bit of a double title...in multifonts....there is personal journaling in behind the photo...used sei poppy range pps, bella journaling tag, various bling and flowers and ric rac!!!

Not much writing from me as I have been sitting on the lounge with Jacob all day very upset with a tummy bug...Not a very good start to the year for him.

I will post a more comprehensive update very soon as I am with pen in hand and notebook by my side writing all the CHALLENGES over at TBSS and DEBSCREATIONS. Hope to get stuck into these when my little man is better....
