A Mamas Love #1 is finished!

Here is the finished piece. I included both Maddie and Jacob's miracle blankets on the line. If you missed my last post these were the little snuggly blankets that kept them safe and warm, snuggled and alive when they were on life support as we nearly lost them. It was a miracle that they survived thus "miracle blankets".
Here is an update, I thought I'd enter it in PAINT PARTY FRIDAY...there are so many gorgeous links to look at...why not enter as well and have a bit of fun...

I am quite happy with it, I love the texture and the multitude of layering of paper and then paint. My clothes line has much bigger sized clothes on it now, and yes I still have cricket bats and tennis balls and lots of other toys scattered around my yard....and yes..I really know I am not as skinny as my painting...lol...I wish!!!ha ha ha...but this is what I do...with 6 kids you can imagine my washing...and I HATE DOING WASHING!!! but I do it because I love my family, along with so many other things we do out of love for our family. That is why I am going to do a series of everyday things we do out of love..those unsung things we do all the time...so that is why this is called A MAMAS LOVE #1...

Here it is!!!

(Kristin, that birdie is for you!lol...)
Ok...well that's it for now.
Untile next time
lots of it

This would look wonderful as a mural in a laundry room. It is beautiful as it is too of course. Love the details and story behind it.

You sure do bring back old memories for me. Would love to have those days back. Now I can't hang out anything outside not even a bird feeder. May be time to move, lol. Blessings, Janet

This is great! Love the color palette and all the great texture. I can only imagine what a workout your clothes line gets.

Isn't it funny how they seem to think we live to do laundry?

Mandy, this is beautiful. I actually love doing laundry - beside cooking, it's the only household chore I like. Hanging it on the clothes line is my favorite part, it's kind of meditative (is that a word?).

I love this! It will make an amazing series. This streams over generations too.. Many are going back to the clothes line to stay green! Well done..

What a sweet painting! I love it, especially the little bird on the post! I like to do the washing but then I didn't have six children, only two...but I probably would have not liked that chore six times over. You are remarkable for being able to find time to paint with all you do. :-)

Beautiful. Love is the only good reason for doing laundry. :) I hope both kids are doing well, now.

This is really beautiful. I love your idea of painting all of the things you do for your family out of love. That is awesome. I am excited to see them. Do you hang your clothes out on a line? I always enjoyed doing that, but it is fairly time consuming. But feels so great, especially on pretty days. :) This is truly sweet.
